About
In Studio Africa is a dedicated creative workspace and artist support platform designed for artists, curators, designers, photographers, and creatives across Africa.
Beginning in Accra, Ghana, the platform was built around a simple idea: artists deserve access to thoughtful, professional spaces that allow them to focus, produce, and develop their work without interruption.
In Studio Africa provides flexible short-term studio access through daily and weekly bookings, creating an accessible model for creative production within the continent. More than a studio rental platform, the space exists as part of a growing vision for sustainable creative infrastructure across Africa.
Alongside studio access, In Studio Africa offers optional professional support through ARTiculate — a platform focused on artist development, writing, documentation, portfolios, grant applications, project development, and creative consultation.
The studio is intentionally designed to feel calm, focused, and supportive of process. Whether artists are preparing for exhibitions, building new bodies of work, researching, writing, or simply needing space to think and create, In Studio Africa exists to support artistic practice at every stage.
The studio also provides access to basic studio resources and production support to assist artists during their working sessions.
In Studio Africa is not a residency, gallery, or traditional co-working space. It is a platform centered on providing artists with the physical space, professional tools, and creative support needed to grow their work on their own terms.
Beginning in Accra, with a vision expanding across Africa.
